"As a small business making the decision to financially commit to a new website is a scary thing. My biggest fears were the cost and being able to communicate what I wanted with a designer - I’ve never written a website brief before and I’m not in the least bit technical.
I tentatively asked a couple of digital agencies how much it would cost for a website and the responses were genuinely frightening. The lowest quote I got was £10k. I thought there was no way I could afford the much needed revamp. Then I arranged to meet Richard after he was referred to me by a friend.
I showed him a very basic design that I had created using Microsoft Word and Clip Art (I’m ashamed to say) together with some examples of websites I liked. Amazingly that was enough for Richard. A few weeks later we had another meeting to review the concepts he’d created. These totally exceeded my expectations. He’d taken my idea and turned it into something I could actually start to get excited about.
Richard made the process of getting my new website up and running easier than I had ever hoped for. He was always there at the end of the phone or e-mail if I had any queries and kept me regularly updated on how the site was developing.
I couldn’t be happier with the end result. It not only showcases my work but is also a functional tool for generating new business."
